Sustainable food packaging from INEOS Styrolution
PAL PACKAGING selects INEOS Styrolution’s mechanically recycled polystyrene for sustainable food packaging.
Pal Packaging, a leading vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and foodservice products, and INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, announced today that they will collaborate on styrenics-based sustainable food contact applications. Pal Packaging’s new food packaging solutions now include the mechanically recycled Styrolution® PS ECO, a 100 percent recycled polystyrene.
Pal Packaging is a division of the Palamidis SA corporation, which is based in Greece. They are a reliable and innovative supplier to packers, processors, and supermarkets all over Europe. The company was impressed with the ease of processing and the quality of the final product after successful trials with the new recycled material provided by INEOS Styrolution.
