The Biggest Meeting of Turkey’s Export Leader Chemical Industry in the EMEA Region: Turkchem Eurasia
Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which has been the meeting point of domestic and foreign industry professionals with the motto “Everything About Chemistry” for years, will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center between 24-26th November 2022 this year.
The countdown has begun for the Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which is held every two years and has become one of the few chemical industry events in the world with its global impact and has become the meeting point for domestic and foreign industry professionals.
Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which is one of the biggest gatherings of the chemical industry with a trading volume of billions of dollars in our country and the world; will take place with the organization of Artkim Fair, which plays an important role in the growth of the Turkish Chemical Industry with many national and international projects in the fields of chemicals, laboratories, and technology.
Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which will host the establishment and development of new business connections and the latest developments in the sector, will host its exhibitors and visitors at Istanbul Expo Center between 24-26 November 2022.
Over 15,000 visitors are expected from all over the world at the fair, where 506 companies and representatives from 40 different countries will take part in total.
25.5 billion dollars export from the chemical industry in 9 months
The chemical industry attracts attention with its increasing growth momentum and export potential: In addition to the final products it provides in many fields from plastics to cosmetics, from pharmaceuticals to paints, it supplies intermediate products and rawmaterials to many industries and has an essential position in the economy as well as contributing to the development of other industries.
According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), Turkey’s exports increased by 9.2 percent in September compared to the same period last year and amounted to 22.6 billion dollars.
The chemical industry, which was the export champion in September, realized an export value of 2.9 billion dollars. The exports of the industry in the first 9 months increased by 40.2 percent and reached 25.5 billion dollars.
The chemical industry was the sector that exports the most in September as well. The exports of the industry, which has a share of 14.7 percent in the country’s exports, increased by 28.2 percent compared to the previous year and realized an export value of 2.9 billion dollars.
The chemical industry, which became the export leader for the seventh time in a row as of September, grew by 40.2 percent with its exports of 25.5 billion dollars in the first nine months.
With the Buyer Delegation Program at Turkchem Eurasia Fair, which aimsto further increase the export figures, potential buyers and participants will be offered the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings in the special B2B area during the fair.
