The 9th International paintistanbul&Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition, where the effects of innovative applications on the industry will be discussed in light of evolving global economic dynamics, will bring together academia and industry professionals specialized in their respective fields.
The paintistanbul&Turkcoat Congress, which will be held by the Association of Paint Industry (Bosad) under the organization of Chem Media, aims to shape the future of the industry with topics such as innovation, sustainability, functionality, digitalization and artificial intelligence.
In 2023, paintistanbul&Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition, which combines with the exhibition area concept in order to reach more industry professionals and will bring together all industry stakeholders, will also enrich university-industry cooperation and enable the sharing of new trends, technologies and developments.
Congress Program Adding Color to the Paint Industry
The congress will be held in two different halls for two days. It will start with the presentation of Mustafa Tunçgenç, one of the industry veterans, who will delve into the “History and Present of the Turkish Paint Industry”.
Throughout the congress, the fundamental properties of paints, sustainability, novel raw materials and digitalization issues will be discussed in detail. The congress will feature insights from five invited speakers, including Tom Bowtell, President of the World Coatings Council, along with 32 oral presentations and 49 poster presentations.
The second day of the congress will host a panel titled “Sustainable Innovative Approaches in the Paint Industry,” moderated by Hasan Şerefhan, Technical Factory Director of DYO Construction Paints.
The panel will discuss all aspects of the future of the paint industry and will feature insights from Tom Bowtell; Ersin Kenan Kayalar, General Manager of Kayalar Kimya; Mutlu Uysal, General Manager of DYO Paint Factories; Tolga Demirözü, General Manager of BASF Türk; Prof. Dr. Yusuf Menceloğlu, Board Member of Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center; and Dr. Engin Çörüşlü, Founding Partner of Eva Consultancy.
